Apple weighs major overhaul of Apple Watch lineup, from round screens to screenless devices
Apple is considering a major redesign of its Apple Watch lineup, reviewing options ranging from a watch with a round display to a screenless fitness accessory, NineToFiveMac reported. The review comes as competition intensifies from screenless smart fitness devices such as the Oura Ring. Apple is also weighing software changes, including strengthening its Health app around AI, and adjusting pricing strategy across lower-cost and premium models. Any radical changes may take years to reach market.

XRP weakness persists, risk of falling below $1 back in focus
XRP posted its lowest daily close of 2026, ending at $1.027 and putting the $1 level back in focus. It previously slipped to $1.009 intraday on June 26 but avoided a record low close. Analyst ChartNerd said XRP has repeatedly failed at key moving averages, keeping downward pressure near $1.01. Relative weakness versus bitcoin has also intensified, with XRP down about 17 percent against BTC since mid-June.

Apple may revive ceramic Apple Watch seven years after discontinuation
Apple may reintroduce a ceramic Apple Watch, raising the possibility of a return seven years after the material was dropped from the lineup in 2019. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said Apple is preparing the revival and a new model could go on sale as early as this year, according to 9to5Mac. The Apple Watch Series 11 currently comes in aluminium and titanium, with Ultra using only titanium, and ceramic could be priced above titanium.
