Meta blocks smart glasses cameras when capture LED is damaged

Meta has blocked the camera function on thousands of smart glasses whose recording indicator light was covered or physically damaged, as concerns grew about covert filming using glasses-style cameras. The company applied a software update that disables cameras on devices found to have manipulated the capture LED, affecting less than 0.1 percent of Meta AI glasses sold. If the LED is physically damaged, the camera is permanently disabled.

Gravity launches new racing game Run Hebereke: EX globally

Gravity said on Wednesday it has launched its new racing game "Run Hebereke: EX" globally on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game is priced at 29,000 won. It is a remake of Sunsoft's racing game "Hashire HEBEREKE" and lets players choose characters such as Hebe, Ozzang, Jennifer and Sukezaemon to compete on courses with items and obstacles. It offers six modes and supports online multiplayer for up to eight players.

Playwith Korea starts pre-registration for mobile MMORPG Seal M2

Playwith Korea said on Wednesday it has started pre-registration for its mobile MMORPG Seal M2, which is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year. Pre-registration is available on Google Play, Apple App Store and the game’s official website. All participants will receive 50 oparts summon tickets, 50 costume summon tickets and a mount, "Famous Horse Alexandra". Additional rewards will be offered as pre-registrations reach set milestones.
