Korea-Canada audiovisual co-production agreement to be signed after eight-year effort

South Korea's Broadcast Media and Communications Commission said a Korea-Canada audiovisual co-production agreement it has worked on for eight years will be signed this week. A delegation led by standing commissioner Go Min-soo will visit Canada from April 21 to 25 and sign the accord on April 22 local time. The pact recognises co-productions as domestic content in both countries, offering quota exemptions, access to funding programmes and tax credits.
