Hana Bank signs business agreement with Korean National Tuberculosis Association

Hana Bank said on Jan. 28 it signed a business agreement a day earlier with the Korean National Tuberculosis Association to improve health and financial convenience for foreigners staying in South Korea. The support includes tailored services such as account opening, overseas remittances and economic and financial education, as well as medical services for infectious-disease prevention. The partners also plan joint mobile operations to expand access in underserved areas.

Samsung Asset Management's KODEX 200 tops ETF market by net assets

Samsung Asset Management said on Tuesday its KODEX 200 ETF has become the largest in the overall ETF market by net assets, surpassing 14.4 trillion won. The company said the figure is the biggest since the domestic ETF market was introduced in 2002, and has risen by 2.7 trillion won so far this year. It said the ETF posted a 94.5 percent return in 2025 and is up 22.9 percent year to date.

Shinhan Investment Corp holds kickoff ceremony for Sol-lution student program

Shinhan Investment Corp said on Jan. 28 it held a kickoff ceremony on Jan. 23 for the third cohort of its Sol-lution college student fan-consumer club. The program involves college students taking part in practical processes with employees to work on the firm’s brand and services. It also runs an employee mentoring program. The cohort has 20 members selected through document screening and interviews, with competition of about 37 to 1.
