Hanssak, a data security company, said on Tuesday it signed a master distribution agreement with information security firm SMPeoples for an integrated security solution.

SMPeoples secured domestic master distribution rights for four Hanssak security solutions and will distribute them across all industries, including public, financial, manufacturing and education.

The four Hanssak products supplied by SMPeoples are SecureGate for data transfer between networks, PassGuard for password management, PassGuard AM for integrated access control, and BlueKeen VA for SSL visibility.

Hanssak will provide marketing and training materials needed for sales along with product supply, and will be responsible for technical support and maintenance. SMPeoples will handle customer development, product sales and first-line technical support.

Hanssak's strategy is to use SMPeoples' sales network to strengthen nationwide sales channels and expand its customer base into the private sector.

Young-san Kim (김영산), a vice president at Hanssak, said, "This agreement is a strategic partnership with a company that has sales expertise to strengthen competitiveness in a market being reshaped around integrated security." He added, "Based on a nationwide sales network, we will expand customer touchpoints and actively target the SSL visibility market with high growth potential to translate it into revenue results."
