Lambda256 said on Tuesday it upgraded its on-chain FDS/AML solution CLAIR into an integrated workflow that supports financial institutions' anti-money laundering tasks end to end.

CLAIR is a platform specialised in on-chain transaction monitoring and integrated STR analysis. It integrates KYT (transaction risk analysis), a travel rule solution and on-chain transaction data to fit AML workflows, and links with financial institutions' internal data. It supports work in a single system, from transaction monitoring to tracking money flows, investigations and regulatory reporting.

The process is implemented using ontology-based knowledge graph technology. Based on W3C international standards, it structures laws, rules and customer relationships in an explainable form without changing existing AML systems.

Lambda256 also highlighted its ability to respond to the domestic environment. CLAIR provides label data for unlicensed domestic exchanges and supports financial institutions in setting and simulating their own detection rules. Lambda256 is working with banks and credit card companies, including K Bank, to upgrade functions so financial institutions can create their own detection rules and detect transactions based on them.

CLAIR is also linked to the VerifyVASP travel rule solution. Wonho Cho (조원호), chief business officer at Lambda256, said, "CLAIR focuses on integrating dispersed compliance information and connecting everything in a single flow, from detection to investigation and regulatory reporting." He added, "Based on cooperation with VerifyVASP, we will support domestic financial institutions in building efficient AML and compliance operating systems."
