SK Shieldus' physical security brand ADT Caps said on Tuesday it is strengthening its response to extreme heat to protect the health and working conditions of staff responsible for customer sites.

Chief Executive Min Gi-sik (민기식) and Chief Safety and Health Officer Shin Woo-chul (신우철) visited ADT Caps' New Daegu, East Daegu and Yangsan branches to directly check summer safety management and encourage field staff. Management expressed gratitude for the work of dispatch staff responsible for customer sites and stressed the importance of heatwave response guidelines and sufficient rest, the company said.

ADT Caps plans to continue expanding support so staff can work in a more comfortable environment based on feedback raised on site. To prevent heat-related illness, ADT Caps checks workers' health condition and whether they are in heat-sensitive groups before work and operates duties considering work schedules and intensity.

Shin, SK Shieldus' chief safety and health officer (CSPO), said, "Even amid record-breaking heat waves, the most important principle is ensuring that staff responsible for customer sites can work above all in good health and safety." He said, "ADT Caps will continue to strengthen prevention-focused safety management to create a working environment where staff can work with peace of mind, and based on that, we will continue to provide customers with more stable and trustworthy services."
