SK Shieldus cooperates with TUV SUD on OT/ICS security compliance

SK Shieldus said on March 26 it will work with global testing and certification body TUV SUD Korea to help companies expanding overseas respond to OT and industrial control system security compliance requirements. The firms signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen SK Shieldus' OT and ICS security business. SK Shieldus will provide OT security assessments and consulting, while TUV SUD Korea will offer testing, audits and certification services based on global standards.

Igloo Corporation's SPiDER ExD wins GS certification, NIS security verification

Igloo Corporation said on March 26 that its hybrid extended detection and response platform, SPiDER ExD, obtained Grade 1 GS (Good Software) certification and a security function verification certificate from South Korea's National Intelligence Service. The company said SPiDER ExD supports its autonomous security operations centre initiative. It also plans to speed support for national and public-sector N2SF security framework deployments and expand integrations through partnerships.

Asus unveils lightweight, easy e-bike conversion kit

Asus has unveiled a new conversion kit that turns a conventional bicycle into an electric bike, signalling a full-scale entry into the e-bike market. The company introduced its E250G1 Intelligent Bike Booster at the Taipei International Cycle Show. The friction-drive device transfers power to the rear wheel without chain connections and supports multiple wheel sizes. It includes a removable 159Wh battery, three ride modes, built-in rear light and an app.
