NHN Cloud, NHN Dooray sign MOU with DB Inc. for finance AI transition

NHN Cloud said on March 26 it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with NHN Dooray and DB Inc. to jointly promote cloud and digital transformation and AI-based work innovation optimised for the financial environment. The signing ceremony was held at DB Inc.'s headquarters in Seoul. Under the agreement, the three companies will support a stable transition of core group services using cloud infrastructure and focus on advancing medium- to long-term DX and cloud-based innovation strategies.

SKC declares transparent management, CEO to disclose business update

SKC appointed Kim Jong-woo as its new chief executive and held a shareholder briefing after its annual meeting to disclose its business status and investment plans. The company said it will invest 590 billion won from a 1 trillion won rights offering in its glass substrate unit Absolics and use the remaining 410 billion won to repay borrowings. SKC also outlined turnaround plans for existing businesses and board appointments.

Daedong CEO Won Yu-hyeon secures third term, vows to prove results in future businesses

Daedong reappointed Chief Executive Won Yu-hyeon (원유현) as an inside director, confirming a third term and maintaining leadership continuity to accelerate its agriculture AI and robot businesses. The company approved the reappointment at its 79th annual general meeting on March 26. His term runs from March 2026 to March 2029. Daedong said it will focus on strengthening five key businesses and expanding domestic and overseas deployment of AI-based autonomous equipment, robots and precision agriculture.
