Namu AX said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with iA Cloud for an integrated platform business covering AI infrastructure deployment, operations and services.

The companies plan to link their core technologies to build an integrated platform. Centered on the small modular AI data centre platform NeoCube, they will establish a domestic AI infrastructure operating framework and target the on-premises AI market in finance, the public sector and manufacturing.

iA Cloud will be responsible for AI infrastructure software for NeoCube. Through its private cloud Cloud:iA, it will support virtualisation and operations of heterogeneous resources such as GPUs and NPUs, and use the on-premises AI execution platform Gen:iA to provide a generative AI execution environment tailored to corporate settings.

Namu AX will use Cocktail Cloud to build an AI application operating environment and use SPERO to centrally manage distributed AI infrastructure and cloud resources.

It also plans to integrate the AI agent service Namu Agentic AI (NAA) to provide services that companies can use in actual work, such as AI assistants and task automation.

The companies plan to hold regular technical exchanges to share technology roadmaps related to AI infrastructure and cloud operations, and expand their AI infrastructure platform business in South Korea and overseas through joint customer development and business proposals.

Kim Hwa-joong (김화중), co-CEO of Namu AX, said the companies will organically link their technologies to help customers adopt AI more easily and turn it into tangible business results.
