Hana Financial Group held a job fair with Daejeon Metropolitan City to support re-employment for middle-aged local residents and help companies secure workers.

Hana Financial said on Aug. 13 it hosted the 'Hana JOB Matching Festa in Daejeon' at Daejeon City Hall.

The event was the fourth in the series, following gatherings in Busan in April, then Gwangju and Suwon. Co-hosted with Daejeon Metropolitan City, it supported hiring links between middle-aged job seekers and small and medium-sized firms in the region.

At the venue, 18 companies held one-on-one job interviews with applicants.

The event also ran digital job experience sessions for middle-aged participants and an artificial intelligence-based employment support programme. Participants could try roles such as digital cognitive care manager, AI deep learning master and data labeler.

Organisers also offered AI-based resume writing, mock interviews and career aptitude diagnostics. Career coaching was held alongside, including one-on-one career analysis and resume editing by professional consultants.

Hana Bank operated a financial counselling booth at the venue. In a consultation space for the group's senior-focused service, 'Hana The Next', it provided advice on post-retirement asset management and life care.

A Hana Financial official said, "We will continue to support successful second acts for middle-aged people and steadily expand effective job creation projects that can contribute to revitalising local economies."
