Flitto launches Arabic speech data collection project to narrow AI language gap

AI data company Flitto said on Monday it has launched a new project to collect high-quality Arabic speech data to improve multilingual recognition rates in AI models. The company said demand for multilingual speech data from global big tech firms has been rising. Flitto will use its app’s Arcade feature to encourage user participation, record prompted sentences and automatically classify dialect types. It aims to build training data reflecting linguistic diversity and reduce AI learning bias.
