Naver links short-form Clip with MyPlace reviews, revamps Clip tab to nurture place review creators

Naver said on Monday it will link MYPlace local reviews with its short-form service Clip and revamp the structure of the Clip tab. By linking MyPlace and Clip profiles, place reviewers will be able to manage content and connect previously recorded place reviews to their Clip profiles. A single link will connect review formats including Clip reviews, text, photos and videos. Naver will also reorganise the Clip tab into Recommended, Subscriptions and My Clips.

NH NongHyup Financial opens marine, aviation and defense support center in southeast region

NH NongHyup Financial Group said on April 14 it opened a marine, aviation and defense integrated support center in Changwon, South Gyeongsang, to strengthen support for the southeast region of Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang in line with the government’s “5-pole, 3-special” balanced growth policy. About 50 people attended an event on April 13. The group plans to provide comprehensive financial services through affiliate collaboration and offer 10 trillion won in support over five years.

Jeju Bank joins pilot AI-based credit scoring model for small merchants

Jeju Bank said on April 14 it will take part in a Financial Services Commission pilot programme for an AI-based credit scoring model tailored to small merchants. It said it is the only regional bank among seven participating lenders. The commission plans to complete rule changes and system development by August and begin SCB-based loan screening with pilot operators, with plans to expand participation across the financial sector.
