Samsung to reshape TV viewing with Vision AI Companion platform

Samsung Electronics is adding an AI platform and voice-based search and control features across its 2026 TV lineup, aiming to redefine TVs as screens that respond and understand context. It unveiled the Vision AI Companion integrated AI platform and included Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. The company also expanded screen size options and form factors, introduced AI viewing and sound features, and expanded content offerings through Samsung TV Plus and new audio and multi-angle functions.

MSIT opens call for designation of excellent information security technologies

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency will accept applications until May 15 to designate excellent information security technologies, products and services, aiming to strengthen competitiveness and spur the market. The programme, launched in 2018, evaluates novelty, originality and commercialisation potential. Any venture company operating in information security can apply. Up to 12 companies will be designated based on the evaluation results.

U.S. producer Steve Aoki sells 1.78 billion SHIB and exits position

Steve Aoki (스티브 아오키), known as a U.S. producer, has sold all of his Shiba Inu (SHIB) holdings and fully exited the position. Blockchain outlet The Crypto Basic reported that on-chain data firm Arkham Intelligence confirmed a wallet linked to Aoki recently sold the remaining SHIB balance. The sale involved about 1.78 billion SHIB, worth $10,340 at the time, and the proceeds were moved to Gemini. Aoki also cleared Pepe (PEPE) and reduced Ethereum holdings.
