Nissan to expand AI Drive to 90 percent of models, unveils long-term vision

Nissan Motor has announced a vehicle strategy to apply artificial intelligence-based driving technology to about 90 percent of its lineup over the long term. It unveiled a long-term vision centred on an "AI Defined Vehicle" concept combining AI Drive technology to enhance autonomous driving with an AI Partner to expand in-car user experience. Nissan plans to introduce next-generation ProPILOT on the Elgrand this summer and aims for end-to-end autonomous driving by the end of fiscal 2027.

Russia steps up crackdown on illegal crypto trading with jail terms for violations

Russia is moving to criminalise cryptocurrency trading conducted outside its regulatory framework. A draft approved by the Moscow city government would introduce penalties for organising digital asset distribution without registration or a licence from the central bank. Proposed punishments include fines and forced labour, rising to up to 7 years in prison and a 1 million rouble fine for organised crime or large-scale damage.
