Apple next-generation iPhone 18 Pro enters mass production ahead of September launch
Apple's next premium smartphones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, are reported to have entered mass production ahead of a September launch. IT outlet 9to5Mac reported that Apple assembly partner Foxconn is offering large bonuses to secure returning workers as it scales up output, particularly at its Zhengzhou plant in China. Reports also point to possible chip and display upgrades, alongside speculation the phones could be thicker and heavier.

Bitcoin stalls as oil surges, rate uncertainty fuels focus on FOMC
Bitcoin is trading around the $66,000 level as markets react to renewed Middle East tensions and focus on the U.S. Federal Open Market Committee meeting on July 29. Germany DDR5 prices surge 448 percent year on year, may rise further through 2027 CPUs
DDR5 memory prices in Germany's retail market have jumped to a record high, rising to 448 percent compared with levels before a surge in memory prices, TechRadar reported. Data from 3DCenter show DDR5 prices fell to 408 percent in March before rebounding to 419 percent in June and 448 percent in July. The report also cited talk that TSMC could raise chip production costs next year by up to 10 percent, with some orders facing up to 15 percent more.
