Odos Protocol to shut down as more crypto platforms close
Odos Protocol, a decentralised exchange aggregation service, will end operations on July 30, requiring users to withdraw assets within a week. Cointelegraph reported that the operating team disclosed the plan on X but did not give a reason. The Odos DAO said it will announce its own plans later, while the ODOS token will remain on-chain. Odos DEX aggregation volume has fallen over the past two years.

U.S. House passes bill to curb lawmakers' stock trading using insider information
The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that would ban members of Congress, their spouses and dependent children from buying newly listed stocks. The House approved the Stop Insider Trading Act in a 232-198 vote and sent it to the Senate. The bill aims to prevent lawmakers from profiting from stock trades using insider information and would impose strict penalties for violations. Some Democrats criticised it as insufficient to address conflicts of interest.

Meta adds 'Muse Spark 1.1' to Meta AI, Facebook to introduce video verification and seller app
Meta has begun offering its large language model 'Muse Spark 1.1' to general users by applying it to the Meta AI chatbot. With the update, Facebook will also introduce the account verification feature Facebook Verified, which authenticates users through video selfies and adds a check mark badge to profiles, and a seller app called Seller. Meta plans to launch the three features in some markets first and then expand them sequentially.
