U.S. House passes bill to curb lawmakers' stock trading using insider information

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that would ban members of Congress, their spouses and dependent children from buying newly listed stocks. The House approved the Stop Insider Trading Act in a 232-198 vote and sent it to the Senate. Meta adds 'Muse Spark 1.1' to Meta AI, Facebook to introduce video verification and seller app

Meta has begun offering its large language model 'Muse Spark 1.1' to general users by applying it to the Meta AI chatbot. With the update, Facebook will also introduce the account verification feature Facebook Verified, which authenticates users through video selfies and adds a check mark badge to profiles, and a seller app called Seller. Meta plans to launch the three features in some markets first and then expand them sequentially.
