Cisco expands AI factory tie-up with Nvidia across security, edge and telco

Cisco and Nvidia are expanding their cooperation on an "AI Factory" initiative to cover edge environments and telecom operator infrastructure beyond data centres. The companies said they upgraded "Cisco Secure AI Factory with Nvidia" and rolled out the first large-scale update since it was introduced at Nvidia's GTC conference last year. Cisco added support for Nvidia RTX Pro 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and introduced a telecom-focused "Cisco AI Grid with Nvidia" reference design. Security functions were also strengthened.

ITCEN Group to help revive Art Olympics halted for 78 years

ITCEN Group said on Tuesday it will participate as the largest shareholder and a sponsor of Artlian, the official operator for the World Artpiad and its preliminary Asia Artpiad promoted by the International Association of Art. The group plans to act as a strategic partner by applying its IT capabilities to the art industry. Chairman Jin-mo Kang and audit committee chair Young-ho Kim joined the organising committee leadership.

KT union files police complaint against outside director Lee Seung-hoon over misconduct allegations

KT's labour union said on March 17 it filed a complaint with investigators against outside director Lee Seung-hoon over alleged misconduct, citing the need to restore board transparency and normalise corporate governance. The union said it submitted the complaint to Seoul Jongno Police Station on March 16 on suspicion of obstruction of business and breach of trust, or attempted breach of trust. It also cited allegations of undue influence over personnel matters and pressure to invest in Germany-based satellite firm Rivada.
