Govt partners with Shinhan Financial Group to boost AI skills of digitally vulnerable groups

South Korea's government will work with Shinhan Financial Group to improve AI and digital skills among digitally vulnerable people and strengthen education to prevent financial fraud such as smishing and deepfakes. The Ministry of Science and ICT signed a memorandum of understanding with the group in Seoul to expand training infrastructure, train specialist instructors and develop content by proficiency level. Shinhan will support using unused spaces as training sites and provide financial safety content.
