AI power users more likely managers than juniors, KPMG analysis of 1.4 million prompts shows

How employees use AI tools, rather than how often they use them, can determine performance, an analysis found. KPMG and a University of Texas at Austin team reviewed 1.4 million AI prompts produced by 2,500 employees over eight months and assessed conversations using OpenAI's reasoning model ChatGPT o1. Only 5 percent qualified as advanced users, even though 90 percent used AI regularly. Advanced users were more often managers than juniors.

Solana Foundation president says blockchain gaming is over

Solana Foundation President Lily Liu said publicly that gaming on a blockchain is not coming back. TheBlock reported that if she is right, billions of dollars poured into the sector could rank among the industry’s worst investments. After relying mainly on Musk-affiliated companies and government agencies for a long period after its founding, xAI is now expanding to broader corporate customers, using its contract with Shift4 Payments as a foothold. Shift4 is switching from ChatGPT to Grok, citing access to social signals from X.
