XRP is moving into the weekend again around the $1.54 level, drawing attention to whether the multi-day rebound seen since last weekend will be repeated.

On Sept. 26 (local time), blockchain outlet The Crypto Basic reported that XRP traded around $1.54 on the day. It rose as high as $1.62 over the past 24 hours, retesting an upper resistance zone.

The current range formed at a higher level than the previous weekend. XRP closed around $1.4103 on Sept. 19, with an intraday range of $1.3954 to $1.4529. It then slid to $1.3695 on Sept. 20, but the trend soon shifted to a rebound.

The rebound gathered pace early in the week. XRP rose 8.9 percent on Sept. 21 to close around $1.5363, after touching $1.5731 intraday. On Sept. 22, the high climbed to $1.6071 and the close was around $1.5725. The rise from the Sept. 20 low of $1.3695 to the Sept. 22 high of $1.6071 was about 17.3 percent. Compared with the Sept. 19 close of $1.4103, it rose about 14 percent to the Sept. 22 high.

The uptrend extended once more on Sept. 23. XRP climbed to around $1.6556, but the close fell to $1.5011. The recent move shows that while there were upward stretches, volatility was also large.

This weekend’s starting point differs from last weekend’s. XRP is currently around $1.52, above around the $1.41 close last Saturday and the $1.37 range low seen the following Sunday. It has already tested $1.62 over the past 24 hours, bringing that level back into focus as the immediate upper range.

Market supply and demand also grew. XRP’s market capitalisation was about $96.85 billion, and its 24-hour trading volume was tallied at about $6.73 billion. Trading volume rose about 40.5 percent from the previous day. The price range over the past 24 hours was about $1.54 to $1.62.

If XRP repeats a rise similar in scale to last weekend’s from around the current $1.54 level, a comparable range would be roughly $1.76 to $1.81. The comparison is a simple calculation applying the post-weekend rebound to the current price range, and it cannot be taken as a certainty that the price will rise immediately.

In the end, three key variables stand out ahead of this weekend: the current price of $1.52, the recent high of $1.62, and the higher trading volume of $6.73 billion. It is not yet decided whether a rebound into early next week will follow a weekend low as it did last weekend, but the market is watching whether the same pattern reappears.
