Which crypto tokens could lead the next rally? 10 1,000x candidates for 2026
Ahead of a 2026 cryptocurrency bull market, 10 early-stage projects including elizaOS, Monad, Midnight and Zora are being mentioned as candidates with “1,000x upside potential.” The Crypto Basic introduced the list on May 14, citing next-generation narratives such as AI, privacy, Layer 1 and the creator economy. It warned that small-cap tokens carry major risks, including extreme volatility, liquidity shortages and project failure.

South Korea's KOSPI briefly topped 8,000 for the first time but ended sharply lower as foreign investors and institutions stepped up selling. The sell-off came amid concerns over rising U.S. rates, geopolitical uncertainty and foreign outflows, triggering a program trading curb in afternoon trade. The KOSPI fell 6.12 percent, while the Kosdaq dropped 5.14 percent. Analysts largely viewed the move as profit-taking after a short-term surge.

Cardano whale wallets hit record over 1 million ADA despite 74.5 percent price drop
Wallets holding at least 1 million ADA lifted their combined holdings to a record 25.09 billion ADA, or 67.47 percent of circulating supply, data cited by The Crypto Basic showed. Santiment data showed these wallets have increased holdings steadily since December 2023, up about 14 percent. ADA fell 74.5 percent from an August 2025 intramonth high of $1.02 to $0.26.
