RSUPPORT, a remote solutions company, said on Tuesday its RemoteView online service control system was selected as the Public Procurement Service’s notable procurement product for September on the Nara Marketplace shopping mall.

The company said the RSUPPORT online service control system helps public institutions and companies manage remote maintenance, system checks and incident response work by approved external service provider personnel, in line with their security policies and work procedures.

It manages the full remote work process, from external providers’ remote access requests and staff approval to work execution and post-completion history checks. Administrators can set remote access permissions by user and group, and specify allowable remote control times and target devices based on work purposes. It also supports operating a remote work environment in line with access control standards set by customers by separating and setting permissions for using remote control functions such as file transfers, clipboard and screen captures.

Remote access and work processes can be recorded and managed through screen recording and access and audit logs. Based on this, staff can check progress histories and access records for external service work and use them as materials needed for internal security checks or audits.

It also supports providing remote support by linking with RemoteViewBOX in cases where software cannot be installed as well as in network separation environments.

RSUPPORT said it plans to respond to demand from public institutions for managing and securing remote outsourced work following the selection. RSUPPORT Chief Executive Hyung-soo Seo (서형수) said, "As remote maintenance work expands, an operating system that grants necessary access permissions to approved personnel and records and manages work processes is becoming important." He added, "Through the RemoteView online service control system, we will support customers in building a remote maintenance environment that meets their own security policies, personal information protection obligations and internal management standards."
