Shinhan Bank to hire about 130 entry-level bankers in second half, scraps self-introduction essays, adds AI interview

Shinhan Bank will recruit about 130 entry-level bankers in the second half of this year, targeting general positions in retail and corporate finance. It will also run a special hiring round for candidates who passed the second stage of the certified public accountant exam. From this recruitment, the bank will scrap self-introduction essays and introduce video interviews. It will also revamp interviews by integrating in-depth, group and AI collaboration interviews.

KB Financial, BS Group to cooperate on productive finance for renewables, AI data centres

KB Financial Group will work with BS Group to jointly identify projects and expand financial support in future growth areas including renewable energy, energy infrastructure and AI data centres. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on expanding productive finance and shared growth. They plan to combine expertise in finance and industry to develop business opportunities and build a strategic cooperation framework, and to run working-level consultative bodies by sector to find concrete projects.
