AI agent hackers are coming, a turning point in cybersecurity history

IMF warns tokenised finance could trigger crises faster than central banks can respond

The International Monetary Fund has warned that tokenised finance, while promising lower costs and faster settlement, could trigger financial crises at a pace that makes it hard for central banks to respond. In a report by IMF financial counsellor Tobias Adrian, the IMF described tokenisation as a structural shift in financial architecture. The report flags risks from removing settlement buffers, vulnerability of stablecoins and limited growth in tokenised lending.

Oracle NetSuite launches MCP app linking ERP data with ChatGPT and Claude

Oracle NetSuite, Oracle’s cloud ERP unit, unveiled three AI connector service expansion features at its SuiteConnect London 2026 event. The company introduced the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, to connect ERP data with external AI models such as Claude and ChatGPT. The new features include an AI Connector Service Companion, an MCP app and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse. Executives said the approach focuses on linking with outside AI models rather than competing with in-house models.
