Solum wins ISO 37001 anti-bribery management system certification

Solum said on Thursday it has obtained ISO 37001 certification from the International Organization for Standardization for its anti-bribery management system. It said the audit recognized its management capabilities across areas including anti-bribery policies, employee ethics training and real-time monitoring. The company has appointed a compliance officer and strengthened companywide processes. Solum plans to use the certification in its electronic shelf label and EV charging module businesses.

Saemaul Geumgo completes sales of MG Hope Sharing Baby Snake savings product

The Saemaul Geumgo Federation said on Jan. 8 it has completed sales of its MG Hope Sharing Baby Snake savings product introduced in April last year to support efforts to overcome low birth rates. The one-year fixed-deposit savings product was capped at 50,000 accounts and ended after 49,803 accounts were sold, a 99.6 percent sales rate. The federation said contracts totalled 114.1 billion won and interest of 6.44 billion won is due this year.

Toss Bank launches overseas remittance service

Toss Bank said on Thursday it has started an overseas remittance service, offering real-time tracking of transfers from start to finish. The company said recipients will receive the full amount sent. Remittances can be made to overseas banks in 30 countries, supported in seven currencies: USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, AUD, SGD and HKD. The bank said major currencies are completed within 1 hour, and others within 24 hours.
