Hanyang University student startup teams visit CES 2026
Hanyang University’s startup support group said it visited CES 2026 in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9 with three teams that won a campus venture startup competition. The visit was part of a global startup development program. Students reviewed major exhibition areas such as AI, smart mobility, healthcare, robotics and sustainable technology, and attended product demos and pitching sessions. The university also operated a 12-booth exhibition space at the Venetian Expo.

JobKorea, Albamon win Seoul Video Advertising Awards prize
AI- and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea and Albamon won a bronze prize in the TV category at the 2025 Seoul Video Advertising Awards, the company said on Thursday. The awards, launched in 2003 and now in their 23rd year, are judged online and offline by netizens, advertising professionals and a panel of expert judges. A total of 427 brand campaigns were entered this year.

Korea broadcast media telecommunications committee discusses policy cooperation with U.S. Nevada
South Korea's Broadcast Media Telecommunications Committee said on Friday it discussed with the U.S. state of Nevada ways to cooperate on broadcast, media and telecommunications policy, including protecting AI users and responding to disinformation. The delegation is visiting Nevada for six days from Jan. 5. It met Nevada officials and broadcasters, attended the opening of a KBS VVERTIGO exhibition at CES, and delivered a presentation at a CES-linked entertainment technology forum.
