[DigitalToday reporter Hojeong Lee] SOOP said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with SeoulLand on content-based activation and joint marketing.
The agreement was set up for the live streaming platform SOOP and theme park SeoulLand to build a system of exchange and cooperation, jointly plan and operate content linking online and offline channels, and build new content and business models combining the strengths of the platform and the theme park.
Under the agreement, the two sides will step up joint content production and marketing. They plan to run regular content by season, including pop-up events and fan signings linked with streamers, and use a log cabin small theater inside SeoulLand to present on-site content such as music performances, fan meetings and radio content.
They also plan to jointly pursue content targeting overseas users through collaborations with global streamers, and large events such as a joint game festival using SOOP's e-sports infrastructure.
Starting with the agreement, the two sides plan to hold regular working-level consultations to gradually expand cooperation in areas such as joint marketing, content production and event operations, and build a content ecosystem linking online and offline channels.
SOOP and SeoulLand have continued their collaboration for about 2 years, starting with the 2024 Otaku Festival. In 2024, they produced original Otaku Festival content and held on-site events, and in 2025 they continued to expand the scope of cooperation by presenting branded content using the SeoulLand Ghost Cave attraction, including for the Otaku Festival.
