Cumulative net inflows into XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have totaled $1.8 billion, or about 2.39 trillion won, since their launch. Institutional demand and the pace of inflows have recently slowed, but cumulative inflows continued despite a weak market.

On Oct. 22, blockchain outlet U.Today reported that, based on SosoValue data, cumulative net inflows into XRP ETFs launched last November reached $1.8 billion. The figure follows net inflows of $708,520, or about 940 million won, in a single day of trading on Oct. 21.

A recent market decline has weighed on the overall performance of XRP ETFs, and inflows over the past week were not large. Still, with cumulative net inflows at $1.8 billion, the market is seeing expectations that inflows could top $2 billion, or about 2.65 trillion won, if the trend recovers next week.

The record shows that investor interest in XRP is continuing. It is also notable that demand to invest in XRP has held up through asset managers offering related products, including Bitwise.

XRP ETFs increase accessibility by allowing investors to gain exposure through familiar investment firms without directly buying XRP. As a result, inflows through ETFs can be seen as an indicator that new money is flowing into XRP despite recent volatility.

Whether cumulative net inflows reach $2 billion will depend on the future flow of funds. With the pace of inflows slowing recently, the key question for the next milestone is whether investment demand expands again.
