OpenAI unveils $230 keyboard linked to Codex, enters hardware market
OpenAI has launched the Codex Micro, a $230 keyboard that links to its AI coding assistant Codex, marking an official entry into the hardware market. Designed with keyboard specialist Work Louder, the device includes an illuminated agent key to show agent status, shortcut keys, a joystick and a dial to adjust agents’ reasoning level. Users control it via the ChatGPT desktop app. TechCrunch said it is a limited-run collaboration product.

OpenAI\'s first hardware product may take the form of a screenless portable smart speaker, according to foreign media reports. The device is being developed with a camera and multiple sensors.
