LG Uplus posts 2025 revenue, operating profit rise; to commercialise 5G standalone mode this year

LG Uplus posts 2025 operating profit of 892.1 billion won, up 3.4 percent
LG Uplus said on Feb. 5 it posted 2025 revenue of 15.45 trillion won and operating profit of 892.1 billion won on a consolidated basis, up 5.7 percent and 3.4 percent from a year earlier. Net profit rose 61.9 percent to 509.2 billion won and EBITD increased 1.8 percent to 3.59 trillion won. Mobile revenue climbed 3.7 percent to 6.67 trillion won and total wireless subscriptions topped 30 million. AIDC revenue rose 18.4 percent to 422.0 billion won.

Kakao Mobility expands coding camp eligibility to mobility workers\' families
Kakao Mobility is expanding eligibility for its free coding camp for families of mobility workers, starting with the sixth session. The Junior Lab programme, run with the Children and Future Foundation, previously focused on taxi drivers’ families. The fifth session, held in late January at Kakao AI Campus in Yongin, involved 30 students and included coding lessons, team activities and mentoring. Kakao Mobility said it will broaden recruitment to include families of substitute drivers and quick delivery workers.
