MCP adoption simplifies AI-legacy system integration, but quality and governance remain challenges

Musinsa Tech said introducing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for a conversational product discovery service made it easier for AI to connect to external data and software tools, but did not guarantee the AI would use tools as intended. The company said it faced trial and error in converting user questions into accurate search conditions and tightened input controls. It limited the service to non-login product discovery and blocked access to personal and payment data, stressing least-privilege design. It also called for wider native support and standardized authentication and security.

KT steps up financial sector AX, pledges to prove AI adoption results with numbers

KT said it will lower barriers to AI transformation in the financial sector by combining its know-how with finance-focused AI solutions, data and cloud capabilities, and consulting. It aims to support the full process from strategy to build and operations, moving beyond proof-of-concept projects to changes in real work and management results. KT said it won more than 20 AX projects in the financial sector in the first half of this year.

Codegate 2026 ends on high note as \'AI hacker\' takes part

South Korea\'s largest international hacking defence competition, Codegate 2026, wrapped up after a two-day schedule with white hackers from around the world taking part. The Ministry of Science and ICT held the event at Seoul\'s COEX, combining a contest and a security conference. Japan\'s BunkyoWesterns won the general division, while South Korean junior competitor Kim Jun-won won the junior division. An invited \"AI hacker\" also competed.
