AI mock interview service Preterview launches with portfolio scoring
South Korean AI startup JI Lab has officially launched Preterview, an AI mock interview service that reads applicants’ resumes, portfolios and job postings and asks follow-up questions by voice. It runs interviews with three AI interviewers and produces a feedback report that analyses responses, including speaking style and hesitation. The service also scores portfolios across five dimensions and suggests revisions. Preterview is available on the web and offers an English version.

Anthropic to form in-house AI chip design team
Anthropic is forming an in-house team to design chips for AI, TechCrunch reported on Aug. 5, citing a job posting seeking experienced chip design engineers for a “custom silicon team.” The company plans to co-design hardware and models so its technology runs faster and more efficiently. It currently secures AI computing hardware through contracts with AWS, Google, Nvidia and AMD.

Part-time work platform Albamon, operated by Workspere, is recruiting participants for a part-time job posting event with Kwangdong Pharmaceutical to cheer on part-timers. Five people will be selected to attach labels for the Vita500 “Albamon Edition” and will be paid 1,000,000 won per day. Albamon is also running an online contest to collect short encouragement messages, with selected phrases to appear on campaign labels.
