JobKorea says users of SmartPick performance-based hiring solution up 72 percent

[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea, operated by WorkSphere, said on Wednesday it shared results for its performance-based hiring solution SmartPick. It said the number of companies using JobKorea SmartPick was up 72.2 percent from three months earlier as of end-April, and the number of postings increased 95.3 percent over the same period.

The company said over the same period the job posting click-through rate was up 18.5 percent and the application conversion rate rose 9.5 percent. It also said SmartPick use is expanding regardless of size, from small and medium-sized companies with limited budgets to large firms running multiple hiring channels at the same time.

SmartPick, launched last year, features a pay-per-view structure in which costs are incurred only when job seekers actually view a posting, not based on how long it is displayed.

So-ri Park (박소리), head of WorkSphere's Business Transformation Office, said, "Recent hiring trends are shifting toward companies first searching for candidates, while needs are growing to maximise hiring efficiency within limited budgets." She said, "SmartPick is a solution that allows companies to stop displaying postings depending on hiring conditions to prevent unnecessary spending, and to reinvest the budget saved into other hiring, enabling more efficient budget management."
