Hana Financial Group is expanding an internship programme that links social innovation companies with people vulnerable in the job market. The group said it held a launch event for the 2026 Hana Power On Innovation Company Internship on May 15 at its Myeongdong office in central Seoul. Since 2022, it has matched 935 social innovation companies with 935 job seekers. Last year, 170 of 230 participants moved into full-time jobs, a conversion rate of 73.9 percent.

Hana Financial Group said on Thursday it will recruit participants for its “Hana Power On Innovative Enterprise Internship” programme through April 15, targeting groups vulnerable to employment such as people with disabilities, women returning to work, youths and new seniors. It will select 250 people this year, more than last year, and provide up to 2.3 million won a month for three months. Additional allowances and training will also be offered.
