Woori Financial Group has opened the Jeonbuk Woori WON Financial Town in Jeonbuk Innovation City, completing the presence of the four major financial groups’ regional hubs there. The complex brings together functions spanning capital markets, corporate finance and inclusive finance, housing units from Woori Asset Management, Woori Bank and other affiliates. Woori plans to supply 1.6 trillion won in funding to local small firms and merchants by 2030.

KB Kookmin Bank will recruit applicants for its 2026 summer hands-on internship programme as it seeks to secure future financial talent. The bank will hire young people in three areas: digital, IT and AI and platform development. Applications are accepted through June 24 via the bank’s recruitment website. The selection process will be conducted online, and interns who complete the programme will receive benefits linked to entry-level hiring.
