Nexon Company said on Aug. 25 it is recruiting applicants for its 2026 hiring-linked internship programme, 'Nextorial for Game Programmers'.

Now in its sixth year, Nextorial is an internship programme that combines job skills training, on-the-job experience and mentoring. Nexon Company plans to select a double-digit number of candidates this year in the single game programmer track.

In particular, this year's hiring process will conduct AI interviews for all applicants instead of the existing coding test. Candidates will then go through a newly added AI utilisation competency assessment, solving problems similar to actual work using AI tools. The process will evaluate AI understanding, approaches to problems and structured thinking, among other factors.

Applicants must be graduates or expected to graduate in February 2027 and must be able to work full time during the six-month internship period. The recruitment will be conducted as an integrated Nexon Company intake regardless of corporate entity. Applications can be submitted through the Nextorial recruitment website until 4 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Successful candidates will work as Nexon Company interns for six months starting on Dec. 7. During the internship, they will be provided with the same level of pay and welfare benefits as full-time employees. Nexon Company plans to convert candidates whose capabilities are verified during the employment period to full-time employees.
