Tokenised securities to expand beyond fractional investment to stocks, bonds and funds

South Korea\'s financial authorities will expand tokenised securities beyond fractional investment to cover existing securities such as stocks, bonds and funds. The Financial Services Commission said a phased tokenisation will begin when the system takes effect on Feb. 4, 2027, starting with private funds for institutional investors, private bonds and unlisted shares.
