iOS 27 unveiled: 7 key features set to reshape iPhone performance
Apple has unveiled iOS 27 and signalled major feature upgrades for the iPhone, including an upgraded Siri AI, automatic password changes, stronger photo-editing tools and performance improvements. TechRadar reported the full release is due in September, with a developer beta available now and a public beta possibly in July. Siri AI will also come to the Camera app, though Apple said it will not be offered in the EU due to the Digital Markets Act.

Apple unveiled its new iPhone operating system, iOS 27, at WWDC 2026 on June 8, focusing on performance, design improvements and stronger AI features. Foreign media reports said iOS 27 supports devices up to the iPhone 11. The update adds a transparency slider for Liquid Glass, a semi-transparent design introduced in iOS 26. iOS 27 also adds next-generation Apple Intelligence features, including a Siri Mode in the Camera app.
