KakaoBank launches Brand Pocket adding partner benefits to group accounts
KakaoBank said on Tuesday it launched Brand Pocket, a service that provides partner benefits to customers using its group account. The structure offers rewards when users complete partner missions within the group account. The first partnership is with HanaTour through the \"Group Account HanaTour Pocket\". Users can set a target amount of 100,000 to 2,000,000 won and join until May 18. Additional rewards and a June 26 draw are included.

KB Kookmin Bank releases web entertainment video to prevent jeonse fraud
KB Kookmin Bank released a web entertainment video aimed at preventing jeonse rental fraud, the bank said on Sunday. The video features comedian and licensed real estate agent Seo Kyung-seok (서경석) and comedian Park Se-mi (박세미), who disclosed in 2024 that she was a victim of such fraud. Using an “avatar” concept that gives remote instructions, it depicts difficulties first-time workers may face and includes fraud examples and checks for landlord and property rights.

KakaoBank launches AI invitation, says one sentence can set up a meeting
KakaoBank said on Sunday it launched an \"AI invitation\" feature to make setting up meetings easier. Users who have a group account can enter meeting information in one sentence, and the AI automatically creates the date, time and place as well as a meeting name, introduction text and images. Invitations are delivered through app notifications, letting participants respond and transfer dues immediately. KakaoBank will also run an event offering support funds and coffee coupons.
