KakaoBank said on Sunday it is supporting an even simpler meeting experience with its "AI invitation" feature.

Anyone who manages a group account can use AI invitation. If the user enters meeting information in one sentence, the AI automatically produces the date, time and place, as well as the meeting name, introductory text and an image.

It also recommends images suited to the nature of the gathering. The image is automatically applied after being generated based on Kakao's in-house image generation model, Kanana-kollage, and additional recommended images are also provided.

The invitation is delivered to group account participants via an app notification. Members can immediately respond on whether they will attend and can also transfer dues right away. The organiser can check responses in real time.

KakaoBank is also running an event to provide meeting support funds to mark the launch of AI invitation.

From Feb. 24 to March 16, it plans to provide prizes by drawing lots for meetings that use AI invitation: 500,000 won each to 10 meetings, 100,000 won each to 100 meetings, and 4 coffee coupons each to 1,000 meetings. Details are available in the KakaoBank app.

KakaoBank said, "Following the 'AI meeting secretary' launched last year, we are also introducing an invitation feature and continuously strengthening AI-based convenience features for the 'group account'." It added, "We will continue to apply AI to various financial products to provide a differentiated financial experience."
