Apple is testing four new iPad Pro models aimed at a spring 2027 launch, keeping 11-inch and 13-inch screen sizes, a report said. It is also preparing a redesigned entry-level MacBook Pro and has considered launching it as early as this year, though timing could slip to the first half of next year. Apple is also said to be seeking an earlier debut of the M7 processor in the first half of 2027, with supply constraints a potential risk to schedules.

Apple’s foldable iPad may end at the internal testing stage without becoming a commercial product, a report said. Mark Gurman, described as familiar with Apple’s internal situation, said the device could remain a “strange experiment” that never sees the light of day. The report said the foldable iPad is not included in Apple’s next product roadmap, while the company is expected to prioritise a foldable iPhone and other new categories.
