KB Kookmin Bank launches Nomu365 payroll transfer event, offers up to 80,000 won

KB Kookmin Bank is running a payroll transfer event linked to the HR management platform Nomu365. The bank said on Thursday the event will run through the end of November for Nomu365 users operated by ITCEN Core. Eligible participants are 3,000 corporations and sole proprietors using Nomu365, on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers must apply in Nomu365 and complete at least two months of payroll transfers to receive up to 80,000 won.

Kiwoom Securities, Travel Wallet join forces on digital assets, embedded finance

Kiwoom Securities will work with global foreign exchange and payments platform Travel Wallet to seek new business in digital assets and embedded finance. The two companies signed a strategic memorandum of understanding on Aug. 5, they said on Wednesday. They plan to combine Kiwoom’s retail investment infrastructure with Travel Wallet’s digital wallet infrastructure to research next-generation digital asset businesses and develop embedded finance services.

Cross River to provide P2P payments and banking services for X Money

Cross River will handle the banking infrastructure for X Money, a financial services platform integrated into X, according to Cointelegraph. Based on that infrastructure, X Money will support peer-to-peer payments, interest-bearing accounts protected by the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and a Visa debit card. Cross River said it designed the infrastructure so additional financial products and services can be added later. The announcement did not include support for cryptocurrencies or stablecoins.
