Modusign provides public e-signature for South Gyeongsang education office high school admissions online system
E-contract platform company Modusign said on Thursday it supplied a public-use electronic signature solution to the South Gyeongsang Province Office of Education\'s online system for supporting high school admissions screening. The company said the system will support an online shift for submitting applications for the 2027 high school admissions process. It said 202 high schools are linked to the portal, with about 60,000 users expected annually.

KB Kookmin Bank\'s KB Kookmin Certificate users top 18 million
KB Kookmin Bank said cumulative users of its private authentication certificate, KB Kookmin Certificate, have surpassed 18 million. The bank said the user base has expanded since the certificate was recognised as an electronic signature certification service provider in 2021. Users rose by 1 million in a year, after topping 17 million in August last year. The certificate can be issued without visiting a branch and is used for authentication, e-signatures and identity verification.

Korbit adds Shinhan certificate for account linking
Korbit has added Shinhan Bank’s electronic-signature-based authentication service to its account-linking process. Users can choose between the new Shinhan Certificate option and the existing automated response system (ARS) verification. Korbit said it introduced the new method to improve convenience in the account-linking procedure. The company said the Shinhan Certificate allows users to proceed without waiting for an ARS connection.
