Salesforce said on April 15 that it has released a new version of AgentExchange, a marketplace that integrates AppExchange, Slack Marketplace and the Agentforce ecosystem into one.

The company said the new AgentExchange lists more than 10,000 Salesforce apps, over 1,000 Agentforce agents, sub-agents, tools and MCP servers, and more than 2,600 Slack apps. It said Slack MCP provides access to more than 6,000 applications. Docusign, Seismic, Bullhorn, Notion and Cursor are participating as partners.

Techzine highlighted semantic search based on Data 360, formerly Salesforce Data Cloud, as a notable new feature. The feature shows results by understanding search intent rather than keyword matching. When users search for "contract optimization," it understands the intent and displays electronic signature solutions.

Results are also personalized to match existing Salesforce and Slack setups within an organization. In fall 2026, Salesforce plans to add an interactive search mode that refines results with follow-up questions and allows comparisons of solutions.

Purchases are made through AgentExchange at list price or via customized quotes. Independent software vendors can centrally manage quotes, licenses and billing in the new AgentExchange Go-To-Market App. Agentforce Builder automatically suggests relevant agents or tools based on what is under development.

On security, all submissions undergo extensive review and a full security assessment. Administrators can set detailed access permissions at the user, role and profile levels. Customers can evaluate solutions based on more than 186,000 reviews.

Salesforce also introduced a $50 million AgentExchange Builders Initiative to support platform partners in developing and scaling solutions.
