U.S. House renews push for bill to count crypto assets in mortgage qualification

A bill that would encourage U.S. federal housing agencies to reflect cryptocurrency holdings in mortgage underwriting has drawn renewed attention. The share of savings and time deposits in their portfolios fell, while allocations to stocks, ETFs and crypto assets rose. More borrowers also said they invested in financial products using loans.

Binance to distribute $800,000 worth of XRP in rewards campaign with strict KYC, volume and residency criteria

Binance has launched an XRP rewards campaign worth a total of $800,000, but participation is limited to users who meet strict criteria including residency, customer identity verification and trading requirements. Eligible users must hold at least 0.01 RLUSD in certain accounts and post average daily trading volume of at least $500 on margin or futures, using RLUSD as collateral. Rewards are calculated using the day’s lowest balance and can be reduced for funds converted from borrowed stablecoins.
