Apple to launch next-generation Siri in September, use Google Cloud and Nvidia chips
Apple will launch a next-generation Siri voice AI assistant in September, aiming to offer a higher-level, more personalised conversation experience. The Information reported Apple will also use Google Cloud servers and Nvidia chips for the new Siri. Apple plans to handle as many functions as possible on devices such as iPhones, while running some functions requiring greater computing power on Google Cloud using Nvidia Blackwell B200 data centre chips.

Apple leak shows new Siri with on-device, cloud and Gemini three-layer structure
Apple is preparing a new version of Siri that integrates AI across the iPhone operating system and may include a separate Siri app, according to reports. Leaked renderings ahead of WWDC show Siri expanding from a voice assistant into a default search and action interface tied to Dynamic Island and Spotlight. The redesign is expected to use a hybrid of on-device and cloud processing and to incorporate some Google Gemini technology, with some complex requests handled via Google Cloud.

Red Hat upgrades AI Factory with NVIDIA, expands support for enterprise autonomous agents
Red Hat said on May 20 it will roll out new functions for Red Hat AI Factory with NVIDIA, a software platform co-developed with Nvidia. The update strengthens security for continuously operating agents and offers an immediately deployable solution to help companies move from experimentation to production. Red Hat said the platform combines Red Hat AI and Nvidia AI Enterprise models, tools and frameworks. It also integrates OpenShell and supports confidential computing to extend trust boundaries to hardware level.
