SAP invests in workflow automation tool n8n, to integrate into AI agent builder
Business software company SAP has invested in workflow automation platform n8n, Bloomberg News reported on May 13. The investment lifts n8n\'s valuation to about $5.2 billion, double its level at the time of an October investment last year. SAP also signed a multi-year contract to embed n8n tools into its AI agent builder, Joule Studio. n8n\'s CEO said the deal was a secondary transaction enabling some early investors to sell shares.

Gamma adds AI image generation tool, takes on Canva and Adobe
AI-based presentation and website platform Gamma has added an image generation tool called Gamma Imagine, TechCrunch reported on March 17. The feature lets users create brand-tailored marketing materials, social graphics and infographics from text prompts. Gamma offers more than 100 templates and supports data-driven design through integrations with tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Make, Zapier, Atlassian, n8n and Superhuman Go.

Tried n8n workflow automation tool to build an AI bot
A reporter tested n8n, a workflow tool that connects prebuilt nodes to automate repetitive tasks and can insert AI models for judgement-based steps. The project built a Telegram bot to summarise Procurement Service notices from the Nara Market system. The workflow ran on a schedule, polled the API, cleaned JSON fields with JavaScript, called Anthropic’s Claude via HTTP, and sent formatted summaries. The reporter said n8n keeps AI within user-designed flows rather than agent-style execution.
