Uber launches dedicated self-driving unit to focus on providing infrastructure to partners
Uber has launched a new division targeting the autonomous vehicle market, TechCrunch reported on Sunday. The unit, called Uber Autonomous Vehicle Solutions, aims to provide software and support services for operating robo-taxis, self-driving trucks and sidewalk delivery robots. Uber plans to expand robo-taxi operations to 15 cities by year-end.

Qualcomm unveils mobility AI, IoT and robotics platforms at CES
Qualcomm Technologies unveiled vehicle AI, IoT edge computing and humanoid robotics platforms at CES 2026.
