Azicland joins SK Hynix as development partner for next-generation enterprise SSD based on TSMC advanced process
Azicland will participate as a key partner in SK Hynix’s development of a next-generation enterprise solid-state drive, the company said on Sunday. Azicland said it signed a contract to provide customised design services and tape-out support for the development of SK Hynix’s next enterprise SSD controller. The contract is worth 31.9 billion won and runs from May 27, 2025 to Dec. 31, 2027. Azicland said the scope includes design, verification and manufacturing execution after commercialisation.

ADTechnology to target edge and sovereign CPU design market
ADTechnology said it will shift from a traditional design house model based on customer drawings to proactively proposing AI server chip architectures. CEO Joon-kyu Park said the company will move from a passive approach to an active model of proposing needed architectures and co-developing them with clients. It aims to reach 1.5 trillion won in revenue by 2030 and plans to target demand for ARM-based CPUs for edge servers and sovereign environments.

AD Technology posts 2.8 billion won operating profit in 2025, returning to profit
AD Technology reported on Sunday that it posted 2025 consolidated revenue of 164.5 billion won and an operating profit of 2.8 billion won. Revenue rose 54.4 percent from a year earlier, while operating profit swung from a 16.9 billion won loss. Net profit was 3.4 billion won, reversing a 15.1 billion won loss. Total assets rose to 293.4 billion won, while liabilities increased to 157.7 billion won.
