KT took part in international events in Geneva to discuss responsible AI and cooperation on global AI standards. It joined a roundtable at the AI for Good Global Summit hosted by the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau on digital trust and AI infrastructure for all in the agentic AI era. KT presented ways to secure trust primitives such as identity, consent and verifiability, and stressed open interoperable standards and neutral trust infrastructure.

False and manipulated information is not limited to a handful of users or posts but can spread rapidly through large platforms’ search, recommendation, sharing and monetisation systems, with risks ranging from personal harm to distorted consumer choices and damage to elections. As AI lowers production costs, post hoc deletion and punishment are not enough. A revised enforcement decree under the Information and Communications Network Act seeks tiered responsibilities based on scale and impact, and institutionalises reporting procedures, transparency reports and cooperation with fact-checking bodies.
