Trend AI unveils AI security platform run in customer data centres
Trend AI integrated Nvidia open-weight AI model Nemotron into its Vision One Sovereign and Private Cloud security platform, Techzine reported on Thursday. The integration allows AI features such as support for threat investigations and agent-based security information and event management to run entirely in customer-managed environments. Vision One SPC runs in private clouds, sovereign clouds and on-premises setups, letting customers control model location, version and access without external inference services.

SKT Q2 operating profit jumps 67% on AI infrastructure growth
SK Telecom said its second-quarter operating profit rose sharply on base effects from last year\'s SIM replacement costs and growth in its AI infrastructure business. AI data centre revenue rose more than 90% from a year earlier. It plans to secure AI data centre customers early and increase investment via newly established wholly owned unit SK Hyper. The company also announced quarterly dividends of 830 won per share.

Trend AI joins Anthropic\'s Project Glasswing
Trend AI, Trend Micro’s enterprise cybersecurity unit, said on Tuesday it will join Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, which makes its AI model Mythos available to selected companies for cybersecurity use. Trend AI said it will use Claude Mythos Preview to support software code review and analysis. It plans to help Korean customers integrate AI-based vulnerability intelligence into their risk management systems through its Vision One platform.
